I build the technology and teams that turn digital business into companies’ fastest-growing revenue engines — across a portfolio of consumer brands, Director to CTO and hands-on the whole way: racking the hardware, architecting the platforms, writing the code that shipped. Thirty years ahead of the curve, from the first corporate DTC store to today’s AI operations platforms.
Since 1996 I’ve run two careers in parallel: building and leading technology organizations by day, and shipping 30+ of my own sites, apps, and ideas by night — still writing the code myself. Each track made the other sharper.
Two tracks running in parallel since 1996 — corporate by day, ventures by night, converging in 2024. Click any stop to read its story.
Ecommerce and technology leadership across furniture, luxury watches, footwear, consumer goods, and athletic apparel. Director → Head of Technology → CTO. Every stop: open new revenue channels, reverse declining trends, automate the manual work that drains teams.
Nightlife portals, band merch empires, Twitter analytics before Twitter had analytics, iPhone apps, wikis, alert engines — 30+ builds, nights and weekends, on co-located servers in downtown Tampa I racked myself. Dormant 2010–2018, never decommissioned — the presses restarted in 2019, and by 2026 the night track had its own venture studio.

Today’s work leads — the standard reverse-chronological order. Scroll down and the timeline runs back three decades to 1996, when the state of the art meant table layouts, dial-up, and 800×600 screens. Those early screenshots are unretouched period artifacts, shown exactly as they shipped: the point was never how they look now — it’s that they shipped then, years ahead of the curve.
